I'm grateful to be alive and have the life that I have. I was called a miracle baby, born at 4 months weighing 1 lb 4 oz, and defied medical science in 1959. I have a wonderful family, a great job, and we all have good health. I am truly blessed.
I'm ever grateful that I have such a warm, dry, comfortable place that I can call home and that provides me with so much that so many in this world are not able to have. I am lucky beyond belief!

Rainy and gray Christmas morning. Yet it was so nice. I am very grateful to have my husband, 3 wonderful sons and our bouncy little dog hanging out, relaxing, joking and enjoying our time together. Even though we have only a dvd of a fireplace - the scene was perfect! I am all to aware of how quickly time is passing. So I am grateful for this morning.
It's 20 degrees outside - not factoring in the wind chill. I am grateful that I am in a warm house with good insulation and even in-floor heat. Thinking of those who are not as lucky.
I am grateful that although I was not able to write after day 12 I was able to check in from away and contemplate my gratitudes daily and read others. I have a lot to suggest and look forward to the survey

I am grateful that I took some time this morning to go back and do all the gratitudes I recently missed. And that I remained dedicated to this task through the month. It has only accentuated some things I was already starting to see - that there is more to be grateful than we can ever even document and that I am truly, truly blessed!!! Thank and Praise God!
For years my family and friends have heard me say "It's good to put good in the world, no matter what." Annie and team, you have put so much good in the world with your efforts, your creativity, your constancy and determination. I am so grateful to you for doing this project, and for all the imaginative extras you added along the way. You and all of us will reap rewards beyond measure for being part of it. You have my limitless admiration and gratitude.

I am greatful for all the blessings that have come my way this year. I am ready for all that 2010 has to offer. It is a really awesome feeling to have a positive and energized day today and for the next year. Blessed Day to you all!!
I am grateful for today's sunshine! It is the perfect day to put up the outdoor Christmas lights and decorations. I am grateful that my husband loves to up the lights which helps to help make our home a fun and welcoming place for family and friends to gather for the holidays.
YAY! How exciting - I'm grateful to have made the gratitude highlight page from Thanksgiving Day!! My little niece Anna and I co-wrote the gratitude : ) THANKS ANNIE!!
I am filled with an abundance of gratitude for a lovely day spent yesterday with my daughter and son-in-law in NYC. It was a huge change from past Thanksgivings but amazingly wonderful.
I can't believe this 30 days is almost over. I am so grateful for this forum to put my gratitude into words. I hope it continues every month. I'll be ready to start all over again.
Although I have unfortunately been lax in writing and submitting a gratitude everyday (or even close to everyday) in November, I am still incredibly thankful for this project. I do however take a few minutes everyday to read that day's gratitudes and mull over the theme. I may not post my gratitude everyday, but your project still has been such a good thing to have in my life these past few weeks. As a generally happy-go-lucky person, I have found myself becoming increasingly pesimistic as the months go on (can't really pin-point why though), and this project has really re-opened my eyes to many of the things in my life, big and small, that go largely unnoticed, but that I should be immensely thankful for. And for that I am very, very grateful.

It is very easy in the current economic climate to find fault and jump on the band wagon of all the doom and gloom. Rather than think of the doom and gloom - I CHOOSE to be GRATEFUL for the current conditions. These conditions are not beneficial to me - as a 50 year old homeowner - from CA where the market has lost a tremendous amount of value - and thus we've seen our equity in our home all but dry up - on a piece of paper - BUT - they are extremely favorable for all of the young adults, my children and their friends, who are now in a position to purchase and own homes. Had it not been for the downturn in the market - these young people would have lived as renters for a long long time. I am grateful that so many of them have seized the opportunity to become home owners Yay for all of them! What a blessing!
I'm spending Thanksgiving this year in NYC with my daughter and son-in-law. They have planned all sorts of things to do and see. I am forever grateful to have them in my life!
I am grateful that my new friend, Susan, reached out to me and asked if I would want to schedule a playdate with our sons. I would never have asked her because I am way too shy. Since she asked we have had several playdates. Our boys love having a chance to play together and I have an adult to talk to! She is becoming a great friend!

I love sports -- playing them and watching them -- the pros on TV and especially my descendants on local fields. Methinks, however, that there are imbalances -- the salaries of the pros and the percent of college budgets spent on athletics. My gratitude of the moment is today's report that Northeastern University has given up football. That means $4 million more a year for educational needs and scholarships. May others follow its courageous good example.
I'm grateful for birthdays! My husband's, my family's, my own... because it means we've been blessed with another year! (...and it beats the alternative!) Day 22-30 days of gratitude!
I am grateful for my cognitive level, because of it I am able to do what I love and soon become a Nurse. It allows me to put together a proposal for my experimental psychology class and progress forward in my academic career....and for that I am so grateful for right now!!!
On this very cold morning following a snowy and windy Sunday, I am grateful I have a garage. No worries about starting the car or scraping the windshield of ice - and it is reasonably warm inside. Mundane perhaps, but a gift nonetheless that makes Monday morning a bit brighter.
I am so glad that I recently reconnected with Annie and took part in this wonderful project. I am enjoying reflecting on each day's topic and also reading what others are grateful for. Thank you so much to Annie and everyone else on the 30 Days of Gratitude team for their hard work putting this together and to all those who share their gratitudes.
Yesterday was not such a good day. A friend and I had a fight the night before and she wasn't speaking to me. I had a two hour meeting, four hours of work, and two hours of rehearsal (all on a Sunday!) and I was feeling the strain of it all. My boyfriend showed up for the last bit of rehearsal with a bag of my new favorite candy and some much needed caffeine. It surprised the stress right out of me, and I feel incredibly lucky to have him in my life.
I am extremely difficult that my father also encouraged me to do everything that I possibility could -- not only the "girly" things, but he taught me pretty much all that my brothers could do -- hunting, fishing, the outdoors stuff--even cleaning my own fish. If you caught it, you cleaned it and ate it - no waste.
My relationship with my mother was a difficult one and it was not until very late in life after having a long discussion with one of my aunts that I better understood my mother a tad better. I will be always grateful that during her last years, we were able to enjoy good times and I will always remember that she did the best with what she was taught.
I have meniscus tears in both my knees which often impairs my ability to perform my regular work duties, let alone recreational things such as running and hiking (both of which I enjoy greatly).
Today, however, I was able to perform a substantial leg workout as well as go for a short run.
