Like gratitude, you need to make time for leisure. Finding activities that you enjoy, experiencing that pleasure is an important part of a well-lived life. What floats your boat? Share a gratitude about it today.
I'm grateful for a new bike, with toddler seat, my husband's idea, that my son and I are enjoying. We now bike as my husband runs, enjoy trips to the park much more than driving in the car, and leisurely rides on the beach.
One of the most relaxing things that I know, is playing lizard. This means that on a warm winter day, I go out and bask in the sun. It is peaceful and very satisfying. For this, I am very grateful!
My favorite hobby is riding my razor scooter. It is a Barbie razor. My mom bought it for me. I love it very much. I ride it almost everyday. Sometimes, I bring it to Michael Park and ride it with my friends. Also, I ride it in my driveway.
I am thankful for the love of outdoors and it's marvelous menu of activities it offers. Camping, biking, hiking, sailing, kayaking, skiing, I LOVE THE OUTDOORS!
I'm grateful for the quilt I've been working on for the past 2 years. It's going to be a great way to remember my time in Niger and has given purpose to periods of waiting for transportation.
I am grateful that my husband really turned me on to tennis, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and kayaking. I already love the outdoors, but being able to play these sports brings my outdoor enjoyment to another level. I am also grateful that I can participate in these sports because it gives my husband and I another thing we can do with one another or with friends.
I am thankful for hobbies like biking, sking, and skateboarding. You cand do them most anywhere and they are in the outdoors. You can also do them with friends, too!
I am grateful God gave me the gift to write poetry. I may never be a published author but it is something that I have always enjoyed and something that surprises more than a few when they find out I write!
I decided to learn how to paint (not houses!) this year and I really enjoy the results and satisfaction that I get when I am painting! I can be stressed out and when I put the brush in my hand and begin my journey I am taken away to a place of peace and tranquility!

I love running because I can run when and where I want. I don't need a partner. Sometimes it is hard to find time, but a run can be short or long and can fit into my schedule. It gets me outdoors, and I have enjoyed running different places if I am traveling. A pair of shoes and I'm off!
I am not a very physical person, I submit to my two and a half mile walk five times a week. But I would rather curl up and read a book if I find spare time.
I love to garden. To me I experience miracles in gardening. Every spring my perennials poke out of the ground. They show up on time and at exactly the right time. This is what God has intended. Some flowers bloom in the spring and die back. Others follow....and the cycle repeats all the way through to the frost. I always have flowers blooming during the growing season. Each flower is unique, with its own exact characteristics. One is no more beautiful than the next. They are simply all miraculous creations from God. Wow. I find gratitude in simply watching this show of nature every year...not to mention the animals, butterflies, dragonflies and all other little beings that enjoy the garden like I do. What a show!

I'm grateful that I live in the recreation capital of the world - the desert of southern Utah! The landscape is gorgeous, and there are countless opportunities to go cycling, hiking, water-skiing, camping, rock-climbing, and more! This is so great because it helps me to stay fit and healthy, relax and enjoy myself, and keeps my mind sharp and focused. What a joy!
I love to travel and I am so grateful that I have been lucky enough to have travelled on a few of my jobs and earned many frequent flier miles and Marriott points from those business trips. I used those miles for wonderful trips to Australia, Ireland, Spain and Kauai. I used my Marriott points for free stays at the London County Hall Marriott, Paris Marriott and my favorite Marriott Moscow Royal Aurora.

i am thankful that i was given crafty genes and that i can make very artistic gifts for people and decorate my life with homemade things. It's so nice to give people the gift of your hard work and dedication. I am thankful that during my school break I should have lots of time to make things like this, because I struggle to find the time throughout the year.
Even though I am not doing it as much as I should be, I am very grateful for kickboxing. I am thankful for the heavy bag that sits in the corner of my living room & serves as a release whenever things get to be too much! I am so grateful to have kickboxing since I've quit smoking - I have really, really wanted to punch something at times!!! And also to keep me in shape since I have definitely started to eat some more!!

I am very grateful to have a family to go kayaking with and do fun stuff with. And to live in such a wonderful beautiful area with lots to do, esp the water and beaches. And I'm blessed to be an artist and have time to paint and create.
I do love reading a good book but I realized when I read this prompt today that mostly I like anything that has to do with the outdoors. Walking, running, biking, hiking, camping, canoeing, skiing - if I'm moving and I'm out in God's beautiful creation, I'm happy. I'm so grateful for the many wonderful opportunities I have in Michigan to enjoy the outdoors, thankful for a husband who loves to be active and outdoors too, and especially grateful that I can still be moving and active at this time in my life.
I have recently taken up art classes and have discovered a new love. I enjoy my time painting so much and it lets me be myself. So much of what I do involves leading, facilitating or teaching and therefore to be able to go along to my art class and just be one of a crowd with no expectations is a fantastic feeling. I am so grateful to have found yet another way to express my creativity.
I rarely get time off, but when I do and can get away, I love to relax on a beach, or sit by a stream and just soak in the nature, which really raises my attitude of gratitude. I also enjoy dancing for exercise, which also perks me up and makes me happy.
I love to cook, shop, make jewelry, fish, swim, snorkel, travel, make scrapbooks, read magazines and decorate. Hobbies are great -- they have nothing to do with responsibilities ... they're purely intended to make one happy. For me, that's often how I express my creativity. I wish I had more time to enjoy my hobbies.
I Love to go out in the kyaak and just soak up the salt air and the rays of glorious sun beaming on my face and taking in the beauty of all around me ~
